Look, sometimes you're in a bad mood and want to take out your aggression on somebody who's apparently in cahoots with your piece of shit dad. Anyway, he's not going to make the guy go psychotic or anything, so it's fine, no one will notice. He can loot and slaughter to his heart's content!]

[Going to the fridge for a can of coffee]

[Off Morgana goes! He'll take the opportunity to explore Akechi's apartment in general while he's at it, and peer out of the balcony.

Once his curiosity is satisfied, he leaps up onto the surface closest to Akechi and curls up sleepily.]

It's getting pretty late. Are you still studying?

[Boxes of spare toy weapons, lots of books, random baubles he picked up in Palaces.]

I'm almost done. I was honestly a bit— yawn —behind.

You should stop here for now, and get some sleep. We can put off going to Mementos for a day or two if it'll help you catch up.

I'm fine. It should only take another half hour, maybe forty-five minutes. That way, my schedule will be totally clear for tomorrow. We can fight Shadows to our heart's content.

And as long as we're out, we should get some shopping done as well. I need to pick up some things for the apartment.

[bagcat]

You really need to pace yourself. We were already in the Metaverse today, and it'll be no good if you're tired for exploring tomorrow.

[and shopping on top of that... it makes him feel worn out just from listening to him]

I had a coffee so I wouldn't fall asleep even if I went to bed now. Of course, you're welcome to if you like.

Yeah... All right.

[He's none too happy about it, but he's going to go curl up on Akechi's bed and wait for him to get ready to sleep. If he still doesn't within the hour, he'll go to find him and nag him some more.]

[Yeah, it'll be about an hour before he heads to bed. He takes pause when he sees Morgana in it, though.]

[his bed now, Akechi. he blinds up at him, tired]

What are you standing around for...? C'mon, get to sleep.

That's my bed.

Uh, yeah, obviously?

That's technically true, but I don't remember making such an offer...

[He gets up and moves so he's not curled up in the middle of the mattress, at least. Helpful?]

[I GUESS... I'M GETTING IN THE BED?]

See? Plenty of room for both of us.

[mission accomplished. as soon as Akechi falls asleep, he is going to have a cat loaf sleeping on him]

[Morgana, on the other hand, sleeps peacefully. Humans make for great pillows, as it turns out.

When he wakes up first, he'll try to get up and out of bed without disturbing Akechi. He already lost some sleep staying up late, after all.]

[Akechi will in fact roll over and go right back to sleep. He may even get a few blissful minutes before his phone alarm goes off.]

Rise and shine, sleepyhead!

[Morgana is waiting by the bed, stretching his front and then hind legs.]

Good! Now hurry up and get breakfast. We have an important mission today.

[or, more accurately, kitty is hungry]

...We can stop by a conbini on the way out.
