[ Komaeda wanders up to an easel and sits down, poking at some of the paints. ]

Too bad we don't have a model. Isn't that how this is supposed to work?

Not necessarily. I'm not overly interested in drawing people, at any rate.

[He eventually settles on his art supplies: drafting tools and card stock.]

No? Then what would you rather draw?

My logo.

[starts meticulously drawing a fancy "A"]

[ Laughs a little, though it's not mean. Setting out a few paints as he speaks. ]

Of course someone like you would have a logo. But what do you need it for?

Nothing in particular. But as long as we're here.

[Komaeda starts painting a pretty unfortunate looking airplane. Both unfortunate because it seems to be on fire, but also because he really does not paint well. ]

Hmmm. Nothing? Really? Would you use it for business cards, maybe? Or do you just like your own name?

I already have business cards. I'm only drawing it for fun.

[so that's a yes to that last question]

I get the impression that people where you're from already know your name. Or am I wrong about that?

[ Is that a meteor Komaeda is drawing now? Seems to be. ]

Oh, they do. Although for better or worse, I'm taking something of a vacation from the spotlight these days.

Hmmm. Could that mean you became infamous? Something to do with your powers?

It's a long story... but yes, that's more or less the gist of it.
